I view music as a way to transfer all of my thoughts and emotions into something that isn’t just contained within me. It lets me release what I feel as transparently as I can, and goes beyond the boundaries of mundane conversation.
I’ve always been fascinated by the ways in which sound works, how even with our eyes closed, we can tell which way a car goes as it passes us, or why we all love the way we sound singing in the shower, our voices reverberating off ceramic tiles.
The world of music production allows me to explore my creativity and imagination through an endless playground of sound. My love for music production has had a major influence on the style of music I create, a fusion of mellow, singer-songwriter-type acoustic guitar riffs and cinematic, expansive EDM. And the listener is meant to interpret and connect the lyrics I write to his or her own life, even though they are based on my personal experiences and thoughts. It’s this style that I’ve been continuing to develop since I began creating music, and finding my musical identity through this journey has been incredibly rewarding. And I have discovered that each writing and recording session evokes a new level of confidence within me and a fresh source of inspiration.
